If my Midwestern upbringing has taught me anything (aside from surviving winters and the marvelous word ‘ope’), it would be that there is always kindness to be found in strangers, and within that, stories to be told.
I am an experienced photojournalist with a demonstrated history of working in the newspapers industry. I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2018 with a BA in Multimedia Photojournalism. During school I worked as a photographer at the award-winning college paper the Columbia Chronicle and completed an internship with the Chicago Sun-Times, where I currently freelance.
Each outlet built my curiosity and strive to contribute to the multimedia journalism industry and to further my skills in storytelling.
I have a strong humanitarian drive, having volunteered in Morocco teaching English and worked at a refugee camp in northern Greece.
